What is the basic difference? <\/strong><\/h3>\n

The usual difference between the two is that while CAT is that of a national level entrance test; GMAT is a global test. The scores of these tests get accepted by business schools international. Conducted by Graduate Management Admission Council, GMAT scores are acknowledged chiefly in case of NRI\/Foreign students in the country such as India. However, some of the top India institutes do take GMAT scores of domestic candidates too.<\/p>\n

What is the level of difficulty? <\/strong><\/h3>\n

Both of the CAT and GMAT tests are believed to be tough nuts to crack. Every year more than two lakh students in India take CAT exam. About same number of MBA aspirants take the GMAT test also. The aspirants in India, who plan to pursue management studies in the nearing years, can either both the tests or choose to appear for one of them, depending on the institutes they shortlist, though both CAT and GMAT evaluate the English Language and Quantitative capability of the candidates and Logical Reasoning skills, the two are be nothing like each other in different aspects.<\/p>
